Are hot dogs your favorite food? Is your dream to drive around in a car that will most certainly turn heads? Take a seat, because a major life change could be in your future.
It's that time of year when Oscar Mayer puts out a call for "Hotdoggers," a class of new college grads tasked with roaming the country in their very own 27-foot-long hot dog van.
, live now and open through January 31, describes a "job you can relish" (ba-dum-chhh) fit for people who have an appetite for adventure, a friendly personality, and boundless enthusiasm.
While hot dogs are not specifically in the perks description, it can be safely assumed you'll get some free franks out of the gig. What is promised: a competitive salary, expenses, benefits, and clothing (which...may or may not be a hot dog costume). The job is open to any college graduate, preferably one with a BA or BS in public relations, journalism, communications, advertising, or marketing, though you don't need one of those specific degrees to apply.
Besides taking a year-long road trip, you'll represent the Oscar Mayer brand, organize promotions, and pitch stories for TV, print, and radio. The job starts in June, and runs a full year.
