Twitter Is Freaking Out Over Mason Jars Right Now

Are you team Mason jar salad, or not?

Here at Ikaroo, it's no secret we love Mason jars. They're the perfect container for craft projects and make a beautiful vase for flower arrangements. We even love the way they look at weddings (still!).

But people on Twitter recently started hating on Mason jars—particularly when used for making Mason jar salads—and they did not hold back.

It's maddening. It's too difficult to eat salad properly through mason jars! Get a bowl like a real person, you hipsters!

While we agree that it's hard to eat salad out of a Mason jar, we recommend using them as a leak-proof way to get your salad to work and then mix it all up in a bowl and eat it that way at your desk.

But the Twitterverse also decided to tear apart using a Mason jar as a drinking glass, as well.

Do people really think it's more practical to bring a mason jar to school instead of a water bottle?

we all have different beliefs but surely we can agree that carrying around a mason jar to use as a water bottle is impractical

girl on the subway drinking coffee out of a mason jar like we get it you're trendy but that just seems impractical

While we'd never recommend drinking a warm beverage on a bus or train out of a wide-mouthed container like a Mason jar because of how easy it is to spill it, Cuppow does make these that attach to Mason jars. Now, isn't that practical?
