The HGTV alum and Magnolia Market founder just posted a recent snap of her boys reading in their farmhouse-style bedroom, sharing a special look inside the one-of-a-kind, shiplap-covered space she designed for Drake, 13, and Duke, 9.
While this isn't the first time Joanna's showed off their cozy nook, it is the first we're seeing of the updates she's made to the boy cave. The new lights, wall art, and hooks add some refreshed personality, but most notably, it's the sweet “These Are the Days” sign hanging above the bunk beds that captures our eye.
The metal piece—which replaced the original “adventure” sign Joanna fashioned out of channel letters—could be a nod to a special song or their new Magnolia Table restaurant, which features similar messages throughout. Though Joanna didn’t explain the inspiration behind it, we have a feeling there could be a fan in the Gaines’ farmhouse.
And though it's hard to see in the photo, it looks like Joanna's oldest, Drake, is getting in some adorable cuddle time with baby Crew. "Such a sweet big brother reading to Crew," one commenter noted.
Besides acting as the perfect spot for her kiddos to bond, the bedroom is also serving as inspiration for other parents. "I love this room," one commenter wrote. "I’m a mom of four boys and would love to do something like this!" Another chimed in,"Oh man. You made my Pinterest dream come true 😍!"
We couldn't have said it better ourselves!
