Carrie Underwood may have millions of Instagram followers and even more that pack arenas to see her concerts, but none of them can compare to her biggest fan of all. The singer's 3-year-old son, Isaiah Michael Fisher, is easily her biggest cheerleader.
About four years after marrying husband Mike Fisher, 38, the American Idol alum, then 31, gave birth to their first child on February 27, 2015. Ever since, her little boy has been by her side on tour, while working out, and pretty much everywhere she goes.
"He's so good," Carrie told in 2016. "I could do a few more of those." The singer, who has discussed expanding her family a few times, is now getting that wish. Carrie announced in August that she's pregnant with baby number two, meaning Isaiah will soon be a big brother! Though she joked that he is "a little confused" about having a sibling, she's convinced he'll adjust just fine. “He’s just going to be a good big brother,” she said. “He’s a good little guy.”
"Mike and Isaiah and I are absolutely over the moon and excited to be adding another little fish to our pond," Carrie added in a video where she revealed her big news, as well as , which kicks off in May 2019. Baby Fisher will presumably accompany Carrie on the road, just as Isaiah has his whole life.
"I'm fortunate because I get to have my little guy with me," she told . "I was so concerned about going on tour and how it was all going to work. How am I going to be a mom? How am I going to do what I do? He's learned how to hang with us and keep up. It's been really wonderful having him out on the road."
While she and Mike, a former professional hockey player, have chosen to keep their son away from the spotlight, they've shared a few photos of him over the years giving us a glimpse into their sweet family life. Most recently they took him along to Carrie's Walk of Fame ceremony where the cute crew posed for plenty of photos together.
And as Isaiah continues to grow up, it seems like the couple has been sharing even more sweet moments of him on social media.
Mike shared an adorable shot on Mother's Day that showcases the family's love of the outdoors.
And Carrie posted an adorable video of Isaiah excitedly greeting tourists in their hometown of Nashville.
Just recently Isaiah, nicknamed Izzy, helped Carrie move past her insecurities after she endured a scary and appearance-altering accident last fall, when she broke her wrist and required over 40 stitches to her face.
"This morning, Melissa, my hair and makeup artist, was starting to put my makeup on and he's all in his pajamas and he said, 'No, don’t do that!'" she recently told People. "I was like, 'Why, baby, why are you upset?' And he said, 'I like you just how you are.'"
When he's not cheering on mom, you'll find Isaiah rooting for his dad at Nashville Predators hockey games. "I wonder if he'll remember seeing his daddy play," Carrie wrote on in April. "I sure hope so."
Either way, Carrie is trying to capture every special moment. "I don't know how much of these things he'll remember as he gets older, that's why we try to get lots of pictures," she told in 2017.
Here's hoping the couple will be just as forthcoming with photos of the new baby!
