Could Lance Bass Host HGTV's 'Brady Bunch' Show?

'Property Brothers' star Jonathan Scott thinks so!

, and announced the great news to his fans. The next day, though, the former 'NSYNC singer updated the public that a corporation had outbid him, even though the bid came in after the deadline. “I truly believe I was used to drive up the price of the home knowing very well that this corporation intended on making their offer and it’s not a good feeling,” he wrote on Instagram.

But when it was revealed HGTV was the mystery buyer, Bass had a change of heart, knowing the property would not be demolished. “How can you be mad at HGTV?” Bass tweeted. “My television is stuck on that channel.”

HGTV??! Aw man. I’d be pretty upset if it were anyone else, but how can you be mad at HGTV?? My television is stuck on that channel. Kudos HGTV, I know you will do the right thing with the house. That was always my biggest worry. I can smile again. 😁

HGTV then responded to Bass, saying he’s “officially part of the HGTV bunch.”

Thanks, Lance! Consider yourself officially part of the HGTV bunch. Yours truly, HGTV (aka The Lance Bass Fan Club)

HGTV star Jonathan Scott, one half of the Property Brothers, is definitely up for the idea. “Would LOVE to work with you,” Scott tweeted to Bass. “This is such an iconic home and it really played an important part of my childhood reinforcing strong family values.” Plus, HGTV star Chris Lambton of Going Yard “liked” the tweet, so the network family is behind the idea.

Would LOVE to work with you. This is such an iconic home and it reallly played an important part of my childhood reinforcing strong family values :)

Hiring Bass to host the Brady Bunch home makeover show would be the perfect way to make things right—and a smart way for the network to recruit a celebrity host. Your move, HGTV.
