Joanna Gaines Just Gave Fans an Intimate Look at Her Life as a Working Mom

Between running a retail empire and raising five kids, it's only natural to wonder how Joanna Gaines does it all. Now, she's sharing some insight into her work/life balancing act, and the secret to her success as a mom and businesswoman is surprisingly simple: She combines both!

Joanna, 40, starts by picking a theme, in this case it's "Made Ready," and then she works with her team of artists to plan out the various visuals that will bring her concept to life. When it's time to install the intricate pieces, that's when the kiddos come in.

Ella and Emmie follow in their mom's footsteps by staging the store. They set out flowers, arrange signs, and even rock two-month-old Crew, though Joanna carries him for most of the working evening. Chip and sons Drake and Duke join later, and together they celebrate Joanna's latest successful seasonal installation.

Besides being simply adorable, the special clip is also one of our first looks at the Gaines' life since Fixer Upper ended, and it's already inspiring others.
