In fact, the establishment from all over the country every week, and according to Chip, the visitors are fanatic when they interact with the Fixer Upper stars in real life.
"[It] is a pretty amazing experience," Chip told the about what it's like to visit his own store. "We feel kind of like rock stars, and they kind of freak out.”
Despite the chaos, Chip loves connecting with the fans who visit. The famous contractor often sits in his office, which overlooks the grounds, and even hand-picks a few to meet in person.
“We’ll shoot the bull," he said. "I’ll ask about the circumstances that brought them to Waco. I enjoy hearing the stories. I usually give them a gift certificate.”
Due to the large crowds, Chip and Joanna are also focused on making their market footprint even bigger and better. The two are planning to overhaul the pair of grain silos on the property, one of which, will be turned into a "Chip's Corner" store that sells hammers, T-shirts, and more for men. Plans for the other structure are still undecided.
With a new design book coming this fall, ongoing projects around their town, and these new features coming to Magnolia Market—not to mention, a newborn baby—it looks like Chip and Joanna have plenty to keep them busy!
