John Stamos became a dad for the very first time this year when And the is already getting emotional talking about his son.
When he went on Live With Kelly and Ryan to promote his new Lifetime movie, Ripa brought up Billy, and showed adorable pictures of him to the audience. Ripa said, “You know, you have one of these electric smiles, John, but your smile holding your baby is even more — oh look, now you’re crying!”
Stamos indeed had started to tear up. “I miss him! I miss him! This is the longest I’ve been away from him,” he said. “I’ve been waiting my whole life for — you know, for — sorry.” He stopped and grabbed a tissue from Ripa, who apologized for getting him emotional. “I’m happy, I’m so happy,” Stamos said.
He said , but baby number one keeps getting in the way. “We’re trying, but the kid’s like a c- block. Can I say that?” he joked. “I said, ‘What’s the rush?’ She said, ‘Well, you’re old. I’m doing it for you.’”
After the show aired, Stamos joked about getting teary-eyed. “Oh no, I’m turning into Jimmy Kimmel,” he tweeted. (Kimmel, after all, is no stranger to choking up about , also named Billy.)
