Season 15 of The Voice has shown us some pretty memorable moments among the coaches. We've seen Blake Shelton and Adam Levine share a smooch; sat idly by while Kelly Clarkson blocked Jennifer Hudson from a highly sought-after contestant; and we've even watched the foursome belt out the Golden Girls theme together. Now, we're getting an even closer look at what happens behind the scenes, thanks to this exclusive video.
To no one's surprise, Clarkson caused a barrel of laughs as she and adviser Thomas Rhett discussed the great Yanny vs. Laurel debate. "People who have better hearing, hear Yanny, I guess," she explained to the country singer. "They can hear high pitches well. I can't. I heard Laurel all day long." Rhett offered, "I think Laurel's fine," to which Clarkson replied: "It's a great canyon."
Clarkson, who was referencing the movie , broke out in a little dance. "Another mom joke!" she exclaimed as Rhett chuckled.
Next, adviser Keith Urban told the ridiculous story of his first time shoveling snow. "I had a New Year's Eve in Madison, Wisconsin one year. I was staying with friends of mine and of course I grew up in Australia, and where I grew up there was no snow, nothing," Urban said. "And I was so amazed at all the snow, I get out there and I was so excited to shovel his driveway." He then imitated himself huffing and puffing and struggling to shovel as Shelton cracked up.
And once again, the hilarious Clarkson stole the show as she ushered a few team members into a room with "beautiful Tyra Banks lighting."
"One time I took a picture with her, and she found the light, and I did not," Clarkson said, as she laughed. "And I looked like a hot mess. I was trying, but she's taller. I'm short!"
It looks like the beloved coaches are just as funny behind the scenes as they are when the camera is rolling. We hope to see more of these knee-slapping moments on upcoming episodes—and maybe even more mom jokes from Clarkson!
The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST on NBC.
