Next Week's 'Blue Bloods' Episode Reveals That Frank Reagan Is Battling a Serious Lawsuit

The Reagans are being put through the ringer once again. Though they've proven more than once that blood is indeed "Thicker than Water," the Blue Bloods' family's struggles with each other, and with the city of New York, are far from over.

In the upcoming episode, titled "Trust," the police force will deal with a whole new range of issues—including a shocking death, romantic turmoil, and an unexpected legal battle.

Throughout the entire season, viewers have seen freshly engaged Jamie Reagan (Will Estes) and Eddie Janko (Vanessa Ray) wrestle with balancing their personal and professional lives. The difficulties continue after Eddie and her new partner Maya (Yasha Thompson) decide not to step-in during a conflict at a corner store, and Jamie is not happy with their lack of response.

While the couple continues to clash, Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) and his partner, Maria Baez (Marisa Ramirez) are investigating a devastating scene. After a wild fraternity party, a college freshman is found dead. Danny and Maria work to track down want went wrong—and who's responsible for the tragedy.

And, of course, it just wouldn't be Blue Bloods without a little drama for Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck). The Police Commissioner tackles his own crises as he faces a lawsuit from a disgruntled employee—who alleges the entire department is full of reverse racism and ageism.

As family quarrels and work troubles continue, will the Reagan's be able to make up once again? Or will the continuing chaos lead to deeper issues? Find out Friday, November 2 at 10 p.m. EST on CBS.
