Season 15 of The Voice is heating up, and this week’s show kicks off the beginning of the Live Playoffs. For the first time, the audience will have just as much say as coaches Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Jennifer Hudson, and Kelly Clarkson on who stays and who goes.
Starting Monday, November 12, the top 24 artists will compete for a spot in the top 13. as there are four different ways to vie for your favorite performances. Here's what you need to know.
The Voice Official App and Online
If you’re a Voice enthusiast, then you probably already have from the App Store or Google Play. The app is free, and allows you to be in the "coach’s chair," as you can not only vote but also build a fantasy team, tweet the coaches and artists, get links to music, and more. If you want to save space on your phone, you can also vote online at .
On both the app and online, you can vote up to 10 times per artist/per email address.
Xfinity X1 Voting
Show your support right from the television if you have an Xfinity X1 set-top box and remote. Simply follow the directions on the screen during the broadcast of the program, or for an hour after.
On the Xfinity X1, you can vote up to 10 times per artist/per email address, Facebook account, or Xfinity account.
Starting November 19th, you can cast your ballot by streaming artists' eligible songs via Apple Music. The contestant with the most streams will receive the which multiplies the number of streams on their eligible songs by five.
On Apple Music, you can stream the artist's eligible songs up to 10 times per artist/per Apple ID.
During the December 10th episode, viewers can vote via Twitter for Duet Songs. Your account has to be set to public, and you can tweet or retweet with one or more of the designated hashtags, which will be announced on air.
On Twitter, you can vote 1 time per Duet Song/per Twitter ID.
The two artists from each team with the highest number of votes will advance to the Top 13, and the coaches will select a third to move on as well. With so much impressive competition this year, it's going to be practically impossible to choose. Best of luck to the talented hopefuls and the viewers!
