She will be loved, but Adam Levine’s Super Bowl Halftime Show outfits (or lack thereof) will not.
The Voice coach and his band Maroon 5 hit the stage on February 3 to wow sports fans with their many, many hits. But, in true Adam fashion, it was not the performance that people are still buzzing about. Instead, the world simply cannot get enough of his not one—but four—unique looks throughout the night. Let’s dig in:
Look 1: The Peacoat
Adam started off pretty painlessly, wearing a black peacoat that was likely planned as protection from last week's bitter polar vortex.
Look 2: The Jacket
He very quickly shed his coat, revealing another jacket, the latter of which sported some pink and orange details. Besides the passing thought of, "Wow, so many layers," this overall ensemble was not so bad. But of course, it didn't stop there.
Look 3: Furniture, But Make It Fashion
Everything took a turn when he unzipped his outwear to reveal what lay beneath: A brown and black geometric tank top that almost immediately became a social media sensation.
Fans quickly took to Twitter to show his shirt alongside pillows, curtains, rugs, etc. The world has dubbed it “Adam Levine’s Home Collection 2019” and personally, I can’t wait to add a few of the pieces to my cart. Does it come in other colors?
Look 4: The Tats
Ooh, man. The tattoos. Though the comprehensive guide to his body art is interesting enough, the various reactions followers had to Adam when he took his shirt off on stage might be just as fascinating.
Some compared him to a Chipotle bag, while others said it was akin to “a book of royalty free clip-art” or a Ouija board.
Adam may have gotten teased for his fashion sense, but he still has plenty of supporters who frankly don’t care what he wears, as long as their “forever crush” keeps crooning their favorite pop jams.
“[I don’t care] what the internet says,” one viewer wrote. “I’ll take a shirtless Adam Levine any day !”
