'When Calls the Heart' Is Coming Back for Season 7: Here's Everything We Know

We finally have something to look forward to!

It felt like forever waiting for When Calls the Heart to return on Sunday nights after its lengthy break in the wake of the Lori Loughlin college admissions scandal news. Hearties were thrilled when it finally returned in May, but sadly, the season 6 finale is already upon us.

Fortunately, the network revealed that we can expect Erin Krakow's Elizabeth Thatcher, Pascale Hutton's Rosemary LeVeaux-Coulter, and the rest of the kind-hearted crew to return for another season.

"I'm also thrilled to announce When Calls the Heart season 7, coming next year!" Erin said in a video message earlier this year. "We can't wait to get back to Hope Valley." Same!

We're not sure of many details just yet, except that Elizabeth might have a new love interest. We're also hoping that Hallmark doesn't mess with any of the remaining characters, as Abigail, Cody, and Jack have been sorely missed in recent episodes. While we don't expect Daniel Lissing to return—or Lori, for that matter—fans are still hoping Carter Ryan Evancic will reemerge.

WCTH took an extended hiatus after news broke of Lori and her husband Mossimo Giannulli's involvement in a college admissions scam, which was all in the name of getting their two daughters, Bella and Olivia, into USC. Lori was dropped from all upcoming Hallmark projects, though thankfully WCTH will continue on without her.
