On Mother's Day, Pauley tweeted a throwback photo of a younger (and blonder!) version of herself and her mom, who passed away in 2002 after losing her battle with breast cancer.
"Happy Mother's Day to all moms out there!" she wrote. "And for all who are missing their moms today, I’m with you."
Pauley has shared inside her loss with followers for years, and has posted a number of memories from their too-short time together.
On Mother's Day in 2018, she uploaded a different photo with Donna Bell. "Really missing my mom today," Pauley wrote at the time.
"My mom was so much more beautiful," she admitted to those wondering about her skincare routine. "I give [my] 'not aging gene' to her, except cancer got her first."
While Pauley's tweets are nothing short of touching, her tributes go far beyond the occasional social media post.
