Just eight weeks after the traumatic shooting that killed 58 and injured nearly 500 at Jason Aldean's concert in Las Vegas earlier this fall, the country crooner and wife Brittany Kerr Aldean were more than ready for the arrival of their little bundle of joy.
Their son Memphis Aldean arrived on December 1, a full week before his due date—but the couple saw his early delivery as an extra special blessing. "Thankfully he came a week early so we get more time with him," Brittany wrote on . "You make life a trillion times better, little man!"
Jason was overjoyed to become a dad again. "So blessed today to see my little man come into the world," Jason wrote on . "In a year that has been a rollercoaster ride, this is what its all about." The little boy is the singer's third child. He has two daughters, Keeley, 14, and Kendyl, 10, with his ex-wife Jessica Ann Ussery.
Memphis is Jason's first son and the first boy in this generation of the family, which made his arrival extra special. "The first boy in the family on both sides is kind of a special thing for everybody," Jason told . "Both sides of our families are full of girls. I have two, my sister's got three, [Brittany's] sister has got two, and so there are no boys at all." Congratulations to the happy couple!
