Even though Easter lies rooted in Christian tradition, the holiday truly wouldn't be complete without a visit from the elusive Easter bunny. And with the special day fast approaching, your kids are probably starting to eagerly anticipate the treats and gifts that the mythical hare will leave in their Easter baskets this year.
But if Easter Sunday can't come soon enough for your little ones, they can actually make with the bunny before April 21. Thanks to a smartphone app named , young believers can "call" the Easter bunny to let him know they've been good this year. Genius.
So how does the app work exactly?
After downloading it to your phone, you have to set a time to receive the "call," and make sure your kids are waiting for the phone to ring. When the call comes in, they'll be able to listen to a recording from the app's Easter bunny, a professional impressionist (sounds authentic!).
In the recording, the Easter bunny says hello to your child, asks what his or her name is, and then reminds them to keep behaving well. Cute!
The best part about the app though? Parents can go back into its password-protected "Parents Only" recording archive to replay the phone conversation your kid had with the Easter bunny. You can even save the adorable phone calls to your camera roll!
