For most of us, a new year means reflecting on the past year to determine what changes we can make to live better in the upcoming one. And while you may want to try eating healthier in 2016, or you're determined to finally master that tricky knitting pattern, it turns out most Americans have a pretty simple New Year's resolution in mind for 2016. According to a new study, most people just want to "enjoy life to the fullest."
recently conducted a survey that asked "What are your 2016 resolutions?," allowing respondents to choose one or more of seven answers: Enjoy life to the fullest, life a healthier lifestyle, lose weight, save more and spend less, spend more time with family and friends, pay down debt, or none of the above.
The results were certainly surprising—saving money and losing weight weren't as big of a priority as you might expect. Instead, most people chose "enjoy life to the fullest" or "live a healthier lifestyle."
Of course, we're fans of simple country pleasures, so we couldn't agree more with this year's most popular resolution. Make 2016 the year that you spend more time with your loved ones, travel to your dream destination, or finally take up that new hobby you've been dying to try. Seize the day and have some fun doing whatever you want!
Of course, we may be a tad bit biased, but we think that everything is always best enjoyed in the country, so if you're aiming to live life to the fullest in 2016, we're just going to leave this here for you...
