Through their hit HGTV show, Fixer Upper, as well as their books, viewers have gotten to know not only Chip and Joanna Gaines, but also their four oldest children, Drake (age 13), Ella Rose (age 11), Duke (age 10), and Emmie Kay (age 8). Still, there's so much we don't know about the heirs to the Magnolia empire, particularly new baby boy Crew Gaines, who was born after the series ended. Thankfully, the couple's Instagram feeds have given us an inside look at a few sweet family moments. Here's what we've learned from following along.
The oldest Gaines child got his name for the historic hotel in New York City where his parents honeymooned. It once hosted A-listers like Frank Sinatra and silent film star Lillian Gish. Sadly, it has since closed and been demolished.
Back when Joanna was running the original Magnolia Market on Bosque, she would take baby Drake to work every day. She has said that people used to come in just to see him—a fact that earned him the nickname of "shop baby".
He's a lefty and a "heck of a ball player," Chip said in an episode of Fixer Upper. It makes sense he would so much: His dad played college baseball for Baylor and as a kid wanted to be either a professional ball player or a politician.
