While Las Vegas is famous for its glitzy and over-the-top hotels, it looks like even Sin City is jumping on the tiny house bandwagon now with the opening of the Sugar Shack, a 344-square-foot Traveler XL Tiny Home located in the 's "Backyard" in downtown Las Vegas.
So what fits in that 344 square feet?
Quite a bit, actually. In terms of sleeping space, there is a queen bed on the ground floor, a full-size bed in an elevated loft as well as a pullout couch, so you could easily book this for a girlfriend getaway.
Somehow they also fit a full size kitchen and bathroom in that space too.
In addition to the Sugar Shack, the "Backyard" is also home to a bar, a stage and plenty of lawn games including cornhole, Jenga and Twister. While it's relatively quiet during the day, the "Backyard" becomes a classic Las Vegas party spot at night, so if you're looking for a quiet place for a romantic getaway this isn't it.
But if you're here for the party, the Sugar Shack's "front yard" that comes with colorful Adirondack chairs and a fire pit is basically an exclusive VIP area in the middle of all the action.
A stay at the Sugar Shack goes for $250 per night midweek and $500 per night on Fridays and Saturdays. For an additional $350, the Sugar Shack also offers bottle service which includes one bottle of premium liquor of your choice on Friday and Saturdays. Because of this, all guests staying at the Sugar Shack must be at least 21 years old.
A tiny house in the middle of a Las Vegas party hotspot probably isn't for everybody. But if this sounds good to you, you can book it at .
